CHALLENGEThe World Bank Group needed a clear and modern design vision for its Corporate Scorecard, a platform that tracks progress on its mission to end extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity on a livable planet. The challenge was to communicate complex, multidimensional data in a way that is accessible, transparent, and action-oriented for global stakeholders.

APPROACH
  • Proposed a unified experience to surface both high-level outcomes and granular insights.
  • Prioritized clarity and usability across a diverse set of audiences including policymakers, analysts, and the public.
  • Developed an interactive approach that allows users to navigate by regions, income groups, organizational units, and country-level data.

ROLE
  • Led visual design and interaction strategy across the proposed platform.
  • Codesigned the data explorer tool, enabling users to filter and visualize performance geographically.
  • Crafted modular UI components that support scalability and responsiveness across devices.

SOLUTIONA comprehensive design proposal featuring:
  • A clear information hierarchy that showcases key outcome areas.
  • A modular layout for easy navigation through global development indicators.
  • A map-based interactive explorer that helps users engage meaningfully with performance metrics at various scales.

IMPACTThis design vision repositions the Corporate Scorecard as a transparent, dynamic communication tool. It supports greater engagement with the Bank’s progress and priorities, enabling users to trace the connection between strategy, regional outcomes, and global development goals.
